‘Pensingam’ is going to be a Tamil treat with Karunanidhi writing the dialogues and Vairamuthu penning the lyrics. Now adding more to the sumptuous treat will be Vairamuthu’s voice.

We all know Vairamuthu has a very distinct and commanding voice and he has lent his voice to a scene in ‘Pensingam’.

In ‘Pensingam’ there is a stage drama in which Meera Jasmine plays the courageous female warrior Velumani Nachiyar. Karunanidhi who saw the rushes of the film felt a powerful narration will enhance the impact of the play in the film and he himself suggested Vairamuthu’s name.

When the director met Vairamuthu with the request he was overjoyed to know about Kalaignar’s recommendation. He immediately obliged and completed the job with finesse.
